do horses really like to be ridden, i mean i seldom hear of one begging to be saddled up and kneel down with the invitation of jump on lol. Is it man's interpretation that horses like to be ridden, or do they themselves enjoy it or do it cuz its expected.

I think some of them like to be ridden. My horse chesa gets so mad at me when i ride another horse that she wont let me touch her!!

How can i get my 2 yr old to stand still when i need her to? Like when i'm brushing her? she is a very mellow horse and that's the one problem i have with her. Thanks!!!!!

i have a 9 month old filly and she had a problem with being tied so i just tied her to our panels and left her there for about 2 1/2 hrs. it seems cuel because i didnt give her any water of anything to munch on but she does perfect when i tie her up now.

I asked a question on here a few moments ago. I should have directed it to your thread. I would like to know exactly what a horse does when it "bunny hops." Is it difficult to maintain balance on the horse when he or she does this? My horses owner told me that he may "bunny hop" if he hasn't been ridden for a while.

yes you are right. a bunny hop is a mild buck. Have you had your horse long? How old is he? Try lougeing before riding to work out some enrgy. You may find he stops that.
