New Regulation in the city of Apache Jct no longer allows one disgruntled neighbor to affect major changes in an entire community. This may not appear to be much, but make no mistake, this is a huge change that benefits the Equine community in this city and should be introduced throughout the entire state.

Chapter 6 Animals
Article 6-6 Keeping of Animals
Section 6-6 -1 Maintenance of Property
Paragraph A.
No person, firm or corporation shall be permitted to keep or harbor any animal in such a manner that the housing conditions shall cause insect or rodent breeding, obnoxious or offensive odors or those that cons***ute a public nuisance. An odor cons***utes a public nuisance if it interferes with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property by an entire community or neighborhood or by a considerable number of persons.
Section 6-6-2 Sanitary Regulations
Paragraph A
Manure shall be removed from any yard, corral, barn enclosure or any other structure used for the purpose of housing, keeping or caring for an animal or livestock as often as necessary to maintain a sanitary premise that will not cause a hazard to the health of an animal or livestock
