Help from all of you reiners/cutters

i have an awesome 5yr Quarter Horse Mare who did rein lastyear but has been off ever scince...I would like to get her toned up fpr me to start showing her she incredibly fast and has a great spin to her but we have not done a slide stop yet we have worked in the round pen for about 2weeks she has benn fantastic any advice on my training will be greatly apppreciated

It sounds like you have a GREAT horse. All you have to do is trust her. Start her out at a nice easy lope down the arena fence and ask her for her slide and see where she is at. I am sure she remembers all of it. But if she were to not slide appropriately just make her back up a few steps IMMEDIATELY after the stop and try again.
