Hi~
I have a darling little stud colt who has ring bone in his right front cornet band. I ahve taken him to the vet and he said "corrective shoe him". But I was hoping there was maybe another solution that I was not aware of.
He is sweet! I do not want him to be in pain the rest of his life. He is currently out in a pasture with a soon to be 2yr old mare and he could care less about her. He has his hay bale and he is happy. He gives pony rides to little kids and the kids walk him around. I was able to teach him to lay down on command by the time he was 4 months old. He goes into parades and carries a saddle on his back already and willingly accepts the bit.
I do not want him to be in pain. But I would also like to have him a future trail horse because he LOVES the water.
Does any body know of a way to keep my baby out of pain?
