Great Vets

Hi Everyone,

I would like to find out what the attributes of a great equine vet are.
If you have a great vet or know of someone that does, what makes her/him great?

I like a vet that will take the time to let you ask all your questions
Also, the vet must be able to come to you in an emergency
I also like my vet to respect me and my horses (I've actually had a vet say some rather rude stuff about one of my horses before)
Patience is a virtue!
Continuing Education!!
I also tend to use specialized vets. One for my horses teeth, One general practicioner for the shots, stuff like that
I also like a vet that has good equipment!! Stocks are a must!!
And first a foremost!! The vet has to be a good horseman. I don't generally like the small animal vets that ALSO treat large animals. I go to large animal only clinics.
