The Pinal County Board of Supervisors will hold a series of public hearings on PZ-C-002-09 to be held at the times and dates listed below to consider the adoption of the 2009 Pinal County Comprehensive Plan as recommended by the Pinal County Planning and Zoning Commission on May 21, 2009, to replace the existing Comprehensive Plan for the unincorporated areas of Pinal County.

All hearings are held at 9:30 a.m in the Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, Building A, 31 N. Pinal Street, Florence, Arizona

PUBLIC HEARING on July 29, 2009, on the proposed Comprehensive Plan as stated above with the main focus on Chapter 1: Introduction and Chapter 2: Pinal County Vision and on the recommendations from the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Citizens Advisory Committee.


PUBLIC HEARING on August 12, 2009, on the proposed Comprehensive Plan as stated above with the main focus on Chapter 3: Sense of Community.

PUBLIC HEARING on August 19, 2009, on the proposed Comprehensive Plan as stated above with the main focus on Chapter 4: Mobility and Connectivity; Chapter 5: Economic Sustainability; and Chapter 6: Open Spaces and Places.

PUBLIC HEARING on September 2, 2009, on the proposed Comprehensive Plan as stated above with the main focus on Chapter 7: Environmental Stewardship.

PUBLIC HEARING on September 16, 2009, on the proposed Comprehensive Plan as stated above with the main focus on Chapter 8: Healthy, Happy Residents; Chapter 9: Quality Educational Opportunities: and Chapter 10, Implementation.
