The document is the P & Z Regulations located at: http://www.maricopa.gov/planning/Resources/Ordinances/pdf/reform_ordinance/mczo1.pdf Go to pages 60, 64 & 65. 60 has the copy. 64 & 65 say uses are the same as indicated on 60 (R-190) In other words the uses listed for R-190 apply to all rural zones in the county,

A complete video report is now available for your information YouTube. The link is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgcC4_SsQyg
Thanks for all your support. Without you it could not have happened.

Feedback:
Great job, it is a shame we have to fight so hard every day in some location just to preserve our rights as horsemen.
Thank you. Terry

Glad to hear everything went well last week. I had a trip to Michigan planned and was not able to attend. Just got back yesterday. Cathy Rhudy

Thanks for all of the info and updates. Our statewide horse community is awesome. Horses are a passion, not a hobby.

Cool! You all Check it out!
Thanks to all that attended the meeting yesterday or sent emails to the County Board of Supervisors for rights to boarding up to 5 horses and other horse uses on less than 10 acres without a use permit. We can get things done if we stick together!
Good job on the video Ed! This truly is a precedent in Maricopa County and a definite step in the right direction in my opinion. Hopefully, we can expand on this TA in the future. Of course, we in the AZ equestrian community will need to remain vigilant. It behooves all of us to police ourselves and as you say, practice being a good horse neighbor. Let's not give the BOS pause to regret their decision yesterday
Everyone,
Please listen to and watch Ed's video report of the County Meeting. It is 10 minutes long but is WELL WORTH WATCHING!! Please forward to your horse loving friends.
It will give you the details of what the Equestrians of Maricopa County accomplished as a whole to preserve the equestrian lifestyle of Arizona.
Good Job Everyone!
And great thanks to Ed O'Brien for keeping us united for a more than worthy cause!

Congratulations, Ed ..... you are such a fighter .. persistent ... patient .... good for you ! Hope you have the energy to keep on keepin' on ....

Ed,
Thanks for the excellent video summary and congratulations on a hard-won victory for the horse people!!
If ever I can help you out with planning and zoning-related questions or strategies, please let me know. Planning/zoning is what I do and I'd be happy to assist.
Best wishes,
Betty

Great job Ed! Fantastic way to get the word out and thank you for doing it so promptly. I was unable to attend yesterday because I had a Board Meeting at work that just could not be ignored. I was dying by inches waiting to hear from someone as to what happened. Thanks for all your efforts! Hope to see you at an AZ State Horseman’s meeting soon.
Linda

Thanks, Ed....you did a wonderful job of reporting what has happened. Sorry I missed the first meeting as I was out of town, and I did not read my email until AFTER this last meeting, but this is terribly good news!
Millie

Dear Mr. O'Brien,
Thanks so much for the information on horse boarding and appreciate the job that you and the other horseman have done to bring this situation to a satisfactory conclusion.
Bob Bentley

Thank you for all the information. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into this measure. I think the video report is a very effect tool.
Happy Trail, Katy

Nice job of explaining what was, what we were able to achieve, and what we need to work on in the future. Two minutes in front of the Supervisors isn’t anywhere near enough to clarify the issues! Thanks for sharing,
Jeannette
