Board of Supervisors to Consider Approval of the Draft
Comprehensive Plan on Wednesday, November 18, 2009
The Board of Supervisors will consider approval of the Draft Comprehensive Plan at
their regular hearing on November 18. The recommendations that were made by the
Planning Commission at the Commission’s October 15 and October 30 hearings will be
a major part of their deliberations. In September, the Board proposed 53 changes to the
draft Comprehensive Plan. The Planning Commission studied the changes and made
their recommendations last month.
The Board of Supervisors’ hearing will start at 9:30 am and will be held in the Board
Hearing Room, Building A, 31N. Pinal Street, Florence

The site includes the staff report to the Board as well as matrices which show the
proposed changes and the Commission’s recommendations on those changes.
