LCR would like you to be aware of two very important grant opportunities for 2010 for which applications will be due soon.
First, for trail organizations, The Recreational Trails Program 2010 grant is a federal-aid assistance program to help states develop and maintain trails for recreational use. You will need to contact your state’s RTP administrator regarding your state’s application and deadline. For more information on The Recreational Trails Program please follow this link to:

The Land and Water Conservation Fund is accepting 2010 grant applications for acquiring land for outdoor recreation. Potential applicants will need to contact their cooperating state office for information regarding state project priorities, selection criteria, application and deadlines for applications.
