Attention All Arizona Equestrians
Come and Help Celebrate Arizona’s Centennial on Horseback
The Arizona Horse Council has partnered with the Arizona Trails Association to create an official Arizona Centennial Adventure that begins on September 15, 2011 and ends October 31, 2011
We created this event by partnering with the AZ Trails Association to draw attention to just how cooperative, participative and, most important, just how significant horses and riders are here in Arizona.
We want all the Media attention we can get. And so far, it’s working. Riders in Nevada and California are calling to ask how they can get involved.
But, we need literally hundreds of Arizona Equestrians to register and hit the trail between September 15 and October 31st to reach our goals.
How it works
1) Get a few horsey friends, club members, neighbors, coworkers, fellow boarders or fellow competitors together and register before August 31st free at: http://aztrail.org/centennial/adventure.html
2) Once you have formed your trail team register for our “Protect & Save Our Horses Centennial Ride at: http://arizonahorsecouncil.org between July 10 and September 15 2011. Prizes, details and forms will be available beginning July 10.
3) Plan to attend our official kickoff event September 24 at Mormon Lake Lodge. You may choose to bring your horse and ride plus stay/camp overnight or simply participate in the food and festivities available during the weekend. There will be hundreds of people there so be sure to make all the necessary reservations soon. Details will be available on or before July 15 on our website: http://arizonahorsecouncil.org
4) Enjoy the fun and excitement of participating in Arizona’s Official Birthday Celebration as a member of Arizona’s Equestrian Community on the Historic Arizona Trail between September 15 and October 31st 2011.
