Possible luxation

One of our horses wrapped her tail around a tree. In trying to free her self, it appears she went the wrong way, and then proceeded to panic. She has multiple scraps, bruising, and puncture wounds around her backside and anus. The vet thinks she may have pulled so hard that the vertebrae have seperated from her back bone. Has anyone heard of this before? Possible treatments? Thanks for any help.

im so sorry to hear that you are having troubles ...i cannot help but only sympathize with you ...my shetland is suffering with fly strike ...after a particualy bad bout of sweet itch and last week nearly lost his tail...the actual bone ! not just the hair.... you must be devestated you need to persevere and get a back spe******t out asap i hope you get it sorted good luck x ;)
