Hay!! I have a problem.... any help would be appreciated.. I know I wanna have a career with horses.. but I'm not sure WHAT exacly I want to do... the possibilities are ENDLESS!!!! Trainer,breeder, riding instructor,farm owner.... Does anyone have ANY suggestions????

Hey! I just thought i might give you an idea.. you could be a veteranarian and then some people might get you to even help train or break the horses, plus you would get to work with helping save them everyday, but then you could still work part time as helping people learn to ride and stuff..well just some ideas! Hope it might of helped!

Yeah he's a big brat!! I like all his other gaits except for his running walk.. i guess that comes with the breed.. oh well he's still lovely!! lol..:) Yer horse sounds pretty!!:cool:

Yea.. my horse is very gaited too! I love to gallop..but not going sideways..lol i got on her the other day and she was gallopin going sideways and i almost fell off..lol but it was because i had her out there without any other horses and she was wantin to come back to the house with the other ones.

yupp they sure do have some funky gaits!! omg i would hate to be gallopin sideways!! I can't believe ya almost fell off!! I was on Jesse.. one of the other TN walkers and the hay fer the horses in the stalls is in one corner of the arena and I took her out jus before we feed em fer the night and we started to trot and she dodged fer the hay and her feet came out from under her and her knees buckled and she went down and popped bak up and she was fine.. it scared my instructor!! He kinda started to git up cuz he thought i would fall off but luckily I kept my seat and we were fine!! :D

Just gp with what suits you- to be a trainer takes years of appretecing and experience, but its worth it! If you love to take care of horses, consider becoming an equine vet (personally, I think we need some more of them!) Or you could manage a stable or barn if you like to be in charge of things. Farrier work is an option too, although strenuous on the body. Good luck! :)

Mine is doing okay....we havent rode in a while and she wont let u catch her out in the field..so i dont kno if we need to put her up in a stable or what we need to do? ?

I dont kno..its either the cold weather or bc we havent rode her in a while..we got her caught today though..it was a little complicated but im gonna start foolin with her more..and it could b bc of the other 2 horses we have in there with her?? im not sure but maybe she'll get better..and we have this dunsmare and he would NOT let u touch his mouth or even get around it and it threw my brother off twice he has gotten better he had those teeth cut out and today me neighbor rode him and he done ok..not the best but he didnt buck lol

LoL sure did..I got some new boots,belt,pillow with a horse,bedspread,pillows,horse picture frame,one of them horse statue thangs from tractor supply,bare minerals make up,jewlrey box,pajama shorts and tank tops,50 dollar gift card to goodys,lotion and spray stuff,20 dollars,wal mart gift card,and soft blanket lol tickets to ut and ky bball game, a thang to get my nails done, and then another one for pedicure manicure and facial..and thats from the whole christmas besides my neighbor is still coming up here tomorow..lol what all did uget?

WELL.. yeah i pretty much got alot of the things you did!! lol.. that is soo weird!! idk when im gonna git my nails done.. i got a new bedspread, a new straightner, belt, couple pairs of those Aura Jeans made my Wrangler.. do ya have any of those?? those jeans are great!! i have very color hey make and i think like 10 pair of em.. Tractor Supply has em.. um lets see what else.. ummm.... 2 hoody's.. some Lucky You perfume.. a pair of NIKE SHOX.. i wanted those really bad.. i got a pair of Justins before Christmas cuz they were $200.. so yea.. and that stuff is only from my dad.. i have Christmas with my mom this Friday.. so yeah.. lol .. lol.. talk to ya later!!

actually..the horse that bucked my brother off is doing fine now..my neighbor rode him for a long time the other day and he was fine..just dont like water or ditches..lol..yea my horse has got better..but the horses like to fight alot so im thinkin we need to seperate them.

ok lol OMG today i was ridin my horse down the road to my cousins and when we started back down the road i was on the wrong side and no cars was coming and then this big dully truck was straight in front of me and my horse just a gettin it and it wouldnt go to the side or anythin just ran straight towards it lol and then my leg was like 5 inches from his mirror lol it was AWFUL and soo embarrassing lol when i got beside the truck i screamed sorry! lol i have no idea who he was tho lol and while we were goin up the road my foot came out of the stirups and the horse runnin and would nto slow down lol it was hilarious

Thats what I do in the summer..I work at a stable where I take lessons at.. ITS FUN AND I LOVE IT!! so many great horses.. workin on doin that all year round..

We finally got our first snow!!!! I think we got about 3-4" Sunday night and then theres more that keeps droppin overnight every night so yupp.. He loves this snow.!! lol!! :D

Teach a few lessons here, do some trianing there, ect. Be truthfull with yourself about what you're good at and set no limitations on your variety!
If your real good you can cultivate a prize winning stud and breed him to. If your rich, just buy one (he he).

I'm like you, just more decided. I've asked myself the same question.
My action; I enroled in tech school so I can assist a vet in an equine practice. I plan on trying my hand at saddle making (caus I make things). I'm competative like you so I plan on having some BAD A** MOTHER F*****S to breed. And so on and so forth.
