Herb Richardson.

Herb grew up around horses.  His family was involved in the horse business which provided him the opportunity to play and develop a love of horses.  From 1969 to 1974 Herb competed in numerous polo matches.  In 1975 Herb began his current career as a Farrier.

In most professions a certification or a professional designation signifies a commitment to learn and improve, and to stay up to date with new concepts and ideas.  Herb has not only made but lives that commitment. It is rare to find a Farrier with a professional designation but extremely rare to find one with two.
He is a certified Journeyman Farrier in The American Farriers Association and a registered Journeyman Farrier in the Guild of Professional Farriers.

From 1988 to 2002, he was the resident farrier at Trojan Horse Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. He shod three day event horses and covered all of their horse trials in that time period until The Trojan Horse Ranch closed.  While he was there he shod for several members of the United States and Canadian Olympic Teams. Welcome Herb.
