Do you need practical info about buying a horse, and riding? Or perhaps you want to know more about breeding, behavior problems, horse health and horse care? Or maybe you need help on saddle fitting? Or perhaps you have concerns about farm management. If you want answers on any of these issues then you just have to meet Dawn Green.

Dawn is one of those rare professionals who has the education and experience that covers a broad spectrum of horse related issues. She has been involved in this profession for over 30 years. Dawn graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor in Animal Science. She then went on to do 2 more years of post grad work. Throughout her career Dawn has held a variety of positions in the horse industry. She was a Purina Mills horse Specialist in Arizona and Nevada for several years.

Dawn has worked for and/or managed several Arabian, Quarter/quarter type farms ranging anywhere from 100 to 2000 head. She has also consulted with farms nationwide.

Dawn currently manages Los Cedros USA, a premier training and breeding facility in North Scottsdale Arizona.

For 9 years Dawn was on the Board of Directors for the Arabian Horse Association and was part of the management team for the Scottsdale All Arabian Horse Show. Dawn is still active as an announcer for horse shows. Since 1992 she has been on the faculty of the Equine Science Dept. at Scottsdale Community College in Arizona where she teaches a wide variety of courses: Equine Anatomy and Physiology, Evaluation and Conformation, Equine Nutrition, Principles of Equine Science, Equine Behavior and Equine Reproduction.

In between, Dawn spends time on her own ranch where she cares for 15 horses and a small herd of cattle and gives lessons in Basic Riding and Rodeo events (roping, barrel racing and pole bending). Both of her children have competed in the Junior Rodeo at the Championship Level.

There is no question that Dawn is all About Horses.

Welcome Dawn.
