Thank you so much Dr. Schurg! (October 2005)
Kimberly Warner

For Herb Richardson (November 2005)
Thanks so much. The next horse I've looked at has severely underslung heels. They have not addressed the problem correctly in my eyes. She's in a big reining barn. She has no extra support, even shoe extension or little trailer; nor a rocker toe, with a slight squaring of the toe on her, which my past shoer did on this type horse. They have a regular shoe with a toe clip. She's underslung about 1". I know she'll never make it as a broodmare either. But it seems they could improve her shoeing. What do you think? Thanks for all you help; it reconfirms what I've believed about the first pigeon-toed horse.

For Dr Sales (November 2005)
Yes, this helps me a lot. I have been watching her over the past week and a half and the abscesses have now begun to heal. She has not gotten any worse, but not made much progress in getting better either. Our biggest problem is that our vet has just had surgery and is not making ranch calls, and my little ornery horse won't load into the trailer to go to them! So I just keep watching.
Thanks for answering my questions.

For Dr Sales (November 2005)
Hi,
Thanks! I will do some stretching exercise with him and see how it goes.

For Dr Gryl (November 2005)
Thank you for your response.... didn't want to reprimand him for something that was painful for him.

Hi Leslie, (November 2005)
Thank you for the advice.
Today we had a show jumping lesson and I rode a little pony because my instructor and ex-instructor know about my accident and fear. They told me to take it step by step. I ended being able to trust the pony and jumped higher then ever. Does this mean I'm getting my confidence back? Oh and I didn't want to stop jumping either. Is this a good sign?

Hi Ed, (November 2005)
Thanks so much for an email. I really appreciate your interest. I realize that I don't spend enough time with my horse but there is no way in the world I would sell it. I love him to death and I will go through it. I spend approximately 2 hours Monday thru Friday with him, and then half day Saturday and half day Sunday.
I was introduced to Parelli's Program in Red Bluff, CA where I attended the seminar for two days. I really enjoyed the show. It's great that you have already completed level 2. Congratulations.
I live in California and have some friends who are close to completing level 2 and already have been helping me with the program. Thanks a lot for your offer, though. Good Luck with next levels.
Best wishes, Joanna.

For Dr Schurg (November 2005)

For Leslie Stohlgren (November 2005)
Thanks so much Leslie!

Heather Holmes (November 2005)
Heather,
Thank you so much for reading and giving thought to Scout's and my issue. I would give a client the same treatment and advice in my office, I refer to it as re-membering, that dropping the armoring and relaxing into correct posture.
Thanks and will do for his training!!
Sincerely,
Merrie Lea
