I just bought a 7 year old mare she had a baby in August but looks like she is still very pregnant. Almost a bloated look, she doesn’t seem like she is in pain she seems happy and active, what
could it be?

Hi Doris,
Some mares will have a harder time loosing that pregnancy look after they foal, especially as they get older. A 7 year old mare is not very old so you may want to have a Vet check her out and make sure everything feels and looks normal inside. Make sure she is wormed regularly to prevent a pot belly look.
