Mister Ed (1961-1966): Perhaps the most famous television horse, the hilarious Mister Ed became an American icon following his self-titled television comedy. The trouble-making, palomino-colored horse was known for his ability to “talk,” although his klutzy owner was the only one who could hear him, which added to the comedic element of the show.
Argo (1995-2001): In Xena: Warrior Princess, Argo was the title character’s trusty steed. Argo was known as a trusty companion who was well-trained, as he was always receptive to Xena’s vocal commands. Argo frequently aided Xena in her war pursuits throughout the series.
Wildfire (2005-2008): Wildfire is the star of the recent TV series of the same name. Wildfire was destined to be put down, but the main character Kris saves him and helps turn him into a champion racehorse. This television horse star was one of the most touching.
